Dragon knight, rui wang (2D)

Title: Dragon knight
Name: rui wang
Country: China
Software: Photoshop

Since playing the game of Elder scroll V, I always intended to paint a picture of Dragon. I actually donít like fighting. In contrast, the peace and tranquility is much better to me. So that I recalled a scene of Bible, The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Palms23:1-3
I think this place is perfect for my idea. Therefore I put the dragon and dragon knight on the bank of stream, and they are bathing and relaxing.

Very peaceful atmosphere! The dragon looks so ancient, almost fossilized

I agree, the colours you have used for the floor and the dragon are very similar which makes him appear apart of it, looks nice though ! Great work all in all; the lighting especially, it creates a delicate..quiet atmosphere. Impressive!

You see, the dragon's tone almost similar to tone of stones on the side of the creek, so if you wanted to make him white, you might have done more subtle color variations in shadows, I guess. I see it more of blue and cyan grades rather than ochre

Thanks men, nkirill, Holly-Mellor

I feel the dragon have been more like a 'stone',,,haha, well, anyway that's true. I'm still not good at rendering and acept of texture, but nothing, failure breeds success, I'll do this better at next picture.
