Hey,

Sebastien Deguy contacted me with a study of how Jarred Everson recreated Sang Han's 2D Dominance War IV piece 'The Hive' in 3D, following his use of Allegorithmic's Substance Designer.

Sup dudes! I wanted to add, that a lot of the elements don't follow Sang's concept, some I thought for better, and some for worse, would you guys like to see some wires? Let me know if your interested, otherwise I have some images of the sculpt

Stunning work on the recreation of this piece! I would love to see the wires workflow.

btw what is high poly mesh count?

The high res, hmmmm not sure, somewhere in the millions I'm sure. I'll post some wires soon.

some wires, the high poly assets were in the 6 to 8 million polygon range. Low poly asset is 55k. Thanks for the positive comments dudes!
