Auto-running a mel script on startup

So I've created a little post render script that I want to run after every render on every project I ever do in maya. Is there a way I can add this render script to implement itself in every project that is opened?

Currently I have to add it to every project manually and then when I change to a different project it's gone.

I've tried putting the mel script into the scripts folder but no luck with that.

Any ideas?

That "evalDeferred("source test.mel");" bit worked.
