Wings3D

The Wings3D forum changed its address: www.wings3d.com/forum
The old one still remains in http://nendowingsmirai.yuku.com/
You can download it (Wings3D is open source) in http://www.wings3d.com/?page_id=84
The main documentation about it is in http://www.wings3d.com/paulthepuzzles/aardvarks.html
I am re-recording the video-tutorials about it that are hosted in www.youtube.com/wings3dchannel. This new series are in HD: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?li...fl0VpGvKkdDcqjn

I invite all modellers to taste Wings3D, that is focused in box modelling: it is a very nice program.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I've downloaded V 1.42 and am testing it!

Seems like a nice poly modeler so far.

Pidpixel: i am doing this for the simple reason it is really a very consistent box modelling software, i am really in love for it for many years now. Thanks for the kind words.

DePaint: i think you mis-typed, because there is no 1.4.2 release, just the 1.4.1 and the developement version. Anyway i am very happy to know you are trying. If you need some assistance or help at some point, just post your question at www.wings3d.com/forum. You will receive immediate attention.

Thanks FonteBoa. Wings3D is what I started modelling with and I still use it and love it.

Thumbs up

Wings3D forum now has support for embedding 3d models uploaded to http://p3d.in/, what means users can visualize their meshes in 3d (rotate, pan, textured or not etc).

Dillster: glad to see a winger around here.

1.5 preview release

Just released the 1.5 release preview, with all recent resources, except Sculpt with masks. It is a Wings snapshot, to be tested so that developers can correct any bugs before release 1.5.

Can be downloaded from
