roto vs rotopaint tool
Im just curious on which one most professionals rather use for garbage mattes...the roto tool or the rotopaint tool. I've seen both used in these circumstances.. I just want to know the pros and cons for both.. i feel rotopaint is a little bit easer due to just painting what you want out s long as you don;t use to much of it..

if i just need a simple bezier mask the old "bezier" node is still my number one. its faster to handle and faster to render then roto or rotopaint.
the roto node was introduced as a "light" version of the rotopaint without the paint stuff, so its a little bit faster then the rotopaint. but i tend to use the rotopaint, just in case i need some of the painting tools |
