Can you multiply images in 3D?

Hi everyone,
On my present shot, I want to multiply some CG shadows over my footage to integrate a CG object. I'm using 3D cards to place the beauty render over the background, and I want to do the same with the shadows. The problem is I can't get the shadow pass to 'multiply' over the background if I use a card, the scanline renderer seems to only do an 'over' operation.

Is it possible to mount the shadow pass on a card and 'multiply' it? Or do I have to do it in 2D?

you could render 2 scanline renderer and multiply the result of them
but there is no way of doing a multiply inside the 3d system
