Halo Quadruped

Update:
Added a flank armor piece and helmet.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I've been working on this idea for a while. As far as I'm aware there has never been a quadruped Covenant enemy in the Halo franchise so I think I would try my hand at creating my own. It's taken me a while to get to this point but today I busted out this front armor piece and I wanted to know what people thought about it. Rip it apart.

Interesting but too dog like.
If this is Covenant (Ie alien) then it should be alien. Each of the various species in the Covenant are different, in other words alien. Some are insect (drones) some are reptilian, others are a hybrid of various species.

It's too bad that wouldn't work as a Marine war dog and you could come up with something else for the Covenant. Maybe cross a raptor with an insect and a lizard? Or cross a hawk with a Komodo dragon? Maybe give it extra eyes, split jaw... 4 ears... spines, Razor tail... etc.

Nice sculpting though.
