3dsmax SHadow

hi guys.. i am new to 3ds max// recently i using 3ds max 2010.. i found a problem which is i create a shadow... same angle same posetion , in perpspertive view i can c the shadow but in top view i couldnt c the shadow.. c u guys pls guide me tq very much...here is the image pls have a look....

Uh well, that's a very faint shadow. Besides, the top perspective has the table geometry blocking the floor contact area and it would even seem it's blocking the view to the shadow. Maybe try another camera angle so that we can actually see the same contact area?

yes.. tq.. but my boss want a shadow obvious in top view.. can u guide to that...?? tq very much

one thing that will help is to lower the FOV by a lot and then move the camera farther away, other than that you can always draw it in in photoshop

oh hi catche .. tq.. i will.. but they don want do it photoshop.. they so stupid... everything wan realistic.. with unreasonable.... excuses....

You can do a shadow pass and strengthen it in post just for the top perspective camera. That way you would keep the "realism" and form of the shadow.
