Indoor Modern Room - W.I.P

Hello this is my first post, that will go through, on this forum.
My work is not great and im hopeing for some good critism on my work.

Im trying to make a realistic render of a modern room.
For this I used 3ds Max, Mental Ray.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thx ^^.

too much shadows for a indoor lights on with the outdoor source light.

More me I think the key light must be the outdoor one. So no shadow really under the shelfs.

Hey thx for the imput ^^
This is just a small update with some slight position changes and additional detail on the table.
The light has also been changed as to lessen the shadows coming from anywhere but the outside light.

Little bit of an update, I didnt like how evrything was creamy so I changed some textures and lighting to try and get some contrast and detail into the room.

The outside looks weird. Is it sunny o cloudy?? I can't really tell. The image looks so colourless and not vivid at all. There is something not matching here.

I'm busy looking for a image I actually like for the outside.
I'm looking for a image that is clear and also compliments the room itself.

Just a change in the outside picture used, green to contrast the red in the room.

I could be wrong, but it doesn't seems there is light coming from outside the window.

Also, I think the sofa is too stiff, need more wrinkles and buffyness I think.

Also the picture is a bit ordinary. The bar have rise very high for architectural work, that being photorealistic isn't good enough these day. The image need to stand out by being more interesting.

Ok this is an update to show where I'm going with the room.
I am in the process of adding white pillows to the couch to brake up the hard red.
I am also adding more models around the room to make it more interesting and appealing to viewers.
