Character animation looks weird.

I am working on a project which involves some character animation and some fumeFx explosions. I was done with my character animation almost weeks ago and was working on others parts of the project. Today when I checked my character, I saw all my animations of the character gone and the character showing some weird actions. Could somebody help me on what has gone wrong? The scene file is attached for reference.

Please help.

Well, I had a quick look to your scene, and although I've never used biped in a production, I could say that...

3ds Max Rule #1: Use autoback
Rule #2: Use incremental saves every now and then

And you should definitely post a screenshot of your problems. People are lazy when having to open a max file.

When working with Biped:
Rule #3:
save out your figure pose ( *.fig file ) and biped animations ( *.bip files ) regularily
There are too much chances that you or 3ds Max break some things, thus it's always good to have hose files ready.

In your scene it looks as either you imported the biped stuff in a scene having a totally different scale or you accidently deleted the biped-root animation ( the actual character movement/orientation animation )

Does'nt look as much can be done at that stage, except trying to recreate the characters root animation

Thanks Teemu & Josef.

Even I figured it out that I have to start from scratch again. I didn't import anything from anywhere , I just did it myself. After done with the character animation I went on to work with some Fume explosions on the project, somewhere something happened when I was working on the fumes.

Thanks again.
Thanks all.
