Hmc #35: Sports In Motion!:winner!

Welcome to the latest round of the HCR Modeling mini challenge.

Please take a moment and VOTE for your favorite piece.
You may read the rules of the mini challenge here:

HCR MINI-Challenge #35: SPORTS IN MOTION!-rules
And take a peek at out next challenge:
HOLLYWOOD DREAM MACHINES

Thanks to all who participated on our last mini challenge.
We will have a BIG challenge up in the next TWO WEEKS weeks

HOLLYWOOD DREAM MACHINES
-( Follow the link to talk about this)

Lets go to the results:

BEST DIORAMA
Gingmao Chen
BEAUTY RENDER

only one month,Time is too tight.sorry my poor english,

AND THE BIG ONE:

BEST MODEL/BEST WIP THREAD:

Paul Robinson

HMC #35: SPORTS IN MOTION!: A Moment of Victory

Chosen Sport
: American Football/Gridiron

As always, most pics can be made bigger by right clicking them and viewing the image.

Beauty Render
I ended up going for a black and white look, which I did through texturing and not from just switching it to greyscale...which kind of added a nice look to it. It obviously isn't what I originally set out to do in terms of final composition (I wanted much more of a scene) but the fates conspired to put a stop to that. However I am still very happy with and proud of the result.

I also didn't get time to texture up a proper Ducks or Packers uniform for him, so Tyvonn's been left wearing a generic uniform.

and a mockup Madden cover, just for fun.

Turnaround
Here's a few angles around the model.

Posed Closeups

Due to image limits I couldn't fit the wires in here, but if you head over to the WIP thread:

WIP THREAD

You'll find all the wires and a bunch more progress and detail shots of all the components.

Congratz to all who participated,
and I look forwars to our next challenge...

The concept depends on the participation type of Classical Sculpting. Since the subject is Sports in Motion, i decided to model a Greek statue related to this subject. As a result, i have designed a concept that Alexander the Great(as my favor) is in Paralympic Games, today as an Archer because of the years that broke his arm and leg. So that he has to use his mouth to compete as an archer. So here is the result. Cheers
