how to split poligons symetrically

how to split poligons symetrically on both sides of my object
when i use bandsaw it is not transfered to the other side

Bandsaw doesn't work symmetrically. You have to apply it to both sides manually.

delete and work on one side of your object...then , when all is ok, make a mirror....and weld points.

you can make rapid mirror ( and undo it ), when you're modeling your object, just to see if the general shape is nice....
