Any advice for my build?

I want to keep the budget around $1000 for this

My top priorities will be:
1. Video editing (After FX)
2. VJ'ing/live A/V performance (Resolume)
3. CG, image editing, design (Adobe CS6)
4. Audio production

My shopping cart is:
Core i5 2500k
MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB
ASRock Z68 PRO3 GEN3 motherboard
16GB Kingston RAM
Seasonic M12II 620W Bronze
WD Caviar Black 7200 RPM 1TB
Cooler Master Hyper 212+

I am wondering if the bottleneck will be in the HDD while opening video, and if I should get a SSD for $100, or if my money is better spent elsewhere. Any advice is appreciated.

(I don't know why my text is underlined, please ignore)

I just realized I could afford an i7-2600k, so now I'm wondering if I should upgrade to that over getting an SSD.

SSD is probably better

just overclock the 2500k

SSDs are great, but on that budget you wont be able to get a useful capacity. If I were you id grab a second harddrive and set them to raid 0 for higher throughput.

Yeah if I can afford it I'll go with a 128GB SSD, I'd rather install everything onto it from the start than have to move everything onto it later. I'll just OC my i5. Thanks.
