LBelerique's Armed and Dangerous: W.I.P.

Hello there.

I've decided to jump onboard on this contest, for practice. I think I won't have much time to finish it, so I'll try to keep this simple.

So, here's a first rough concept, to find an interesting pose and character. The goal is to model a woman warrior, elegant and deadly.

Not the most original idea but the goal is to leave my comfort zone, by practising both female anatomy and use of a strong pose.

I'll try to clean up the concept and figure out the costume, but the idea for now is to clothe her in a tight suit, think catwoman

Cheers

the Look in her eyes is gorgeous! Hope you can catch this in 3d. I'm anxious to see hair face and hair as a model. Btw nice sketch!

The pose is quite good and the manga style a good decision!

elmooo: Thank you my friend, great to see you here

maxloegler: Thank you. Yeah, it will be a challenge to keep the expression. Sometimes the energy of a sketch gets lost in the way, so I'll have to double my efforts. Still not sure about the hair, maybe it'll be made in another package as "real" hair, maybe it will be sculpted, still thinking about it.

Ballo: Thanks! Great to see that the pose looks cool. It's a little theatrical, but sometimes you have to exaggerate to look cooler.

fantasymaster: It's just like old times hehe, thank you and good luck to you too

So, here's another sketch, still searching for the clothe's design and color scheme:

Oh, and in my first post I forgot to wish you the best of luck, but I have the feeling there will be great entries hehe

Cheers!

Here's another idea for the model... yeah, I guess I should speed up, but want to nail the idea, or at least have a reasonable concept to start with
Not quite sure, though, about the details.

Cheers,

Thanks fantasymaster

Another shot at the concept, didn't have much time lately, but it's time to start modeling and hopefully the design will work in 3D:

I hope this week I'll start the modeling stage and see how it goes.

Cheers

I really like the second concept. She looks like an amazon from Atlantis, meanwhile the second one is more superhero, its remind me to Superwoman. Have you tried change the colour palette? Some blue-cyan-dark yellow should work better.

good work.

I feel the second one is the strongest. Would really like to see that one translated into 3d.

Hello there! Yes, I'm alive!!

Thanks Ballo and fantasymaster, for your feedback

Here's the deal; I've been busy lately and when I returned to this, the earlier concept just wasn't cutting it, so I've made some changes, having the global picture in mind.

Obviously, I'm way behind, but I'm having fun hehe. Anyway, I've seen some tremendous work, great to see your stuff guys!!
