4th Demo movie (Simple foot rig)

I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way to do a reverse foot in messiah, as I'm still just getting a grip on the software. Here is a reverse foot thats quick to setup, uses only 2 nulls and a bit of creative parenting. Both the foot and the ball null in my setup should always be keyed together, so I'll have to look into keyable groups....

4th Video, windows media 9

Thanks Mike

Very Kool rig.
Is this still the demo or a licensed version?

Tips for speed up for future rigging:

- You can select the foot null - and save the foot rigas a setup file so you don't have to start from scratch and can attach to a new characters leg.

- set your parent in place and unparent in place to Hotkeys

- The group assignments are in the setup mode under groups
Lyle informed that you can set groups to be primary so that the Dopesheet will automatically reference it first.

Great rig setup but JOECOSMAN inverse foot setup is still the hottest setup but i wish I could spill the beans but I paid $50 to get that info (as well as other stuff) and it is the fastest and most efficent foot setup by far.

So do u like the Messiah way..you are cranking these vids out rather fast even Fred gotta catch up (wink, wink).

buildExpression

BonesIk

are two plugins you have to add to the arsenel

Definiately speedup your Ik setup and constraints referencing.

You don't have to set every bone in the Ik chain to calculate Ik
Just the anchor bone and the target bone
