Smile Creating 3d video cube in AE

Hi All,

I have created 3D cube in Autodesk Maya and export it as .obj . After that I import it in Photoshop cs5 and export it as .psd file and finally I import that .psd file in AE cs5.

Now I want to put different videos on its all 6 sides and animate it in after effects. In short I want to create a 3d video cube which has different videos on it's all sides and want to animate it. Please see below image :

So please help me how can I do it?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

V!pat!

I think it would be easier to create 6 3d layers in AE directly and place your videos on those.

Thumbs up same to above

you can creat 6 3D layers in AE,I think it's easer.
Just creat 6 precomp and put the video you need in this 6 precomp.
And you need a final comp to composit them.
And don't fogot to open the 3D butten of that 6 precomp layers.
Just try!

If you set up your anchor points to the edge of each pre comp it is actually really easy creating a 3D cube. Since you know the dimensions (example 600x600) you can then place each video exactly into place.
