renderman: pixar subdivs-error

when I want to make subdivs on my bird I get this message:

// Warning: mtor subdiv warning mesh has multiple connected components: only 34 faces reachable in the mesh but 68 were specified
//

does anyone now that?

Your have two disconnected meshes combined into one object, but not connected into one continuous mesh. Edit Polygons > Separate will fix it, or Append Polygons to connect the meshes if you want them to be the same node.

by the way, I read your book (digital lighting and rendering), the best 3d-book I have ever had ... only the german translation is BAD (that made me buy the original-english one)
