Animate Noise Map Value via Expression
Maybe someone of you can point me into the right direction. I've got a sphere in my scene and there is a material with a default Noise Map assigned to it. I want the noise to change over time by animating the Level parameter.
Therefore I created an Expression Controller of type Float inside Track View for the parameter and started with an expression like sin(T*10). After clicking on Evaluate, the graph for Noise changes to pretty much what I expected.
Now, If I scrub through my timeline, the noise map on my sphere stays constant as well as the value for Noise Level in the Noise Map's parameter window (constant 1.0, but grayed out).
So how do I correctly animate this in Max? And...if I don't want the Expression Controller to control my Noise Map Level, anymore - how do I deactivate that?
