Smile Environment:MattePaint"Castle"

Hi,
this is my first attempt to do a matte paint...
For the walls briks i used a texture from a medieval castle photo.

Very nice Dan. I particularly like the cottages and the pier.

I do think there should be some small amount of snow showing on the castle as there is some on the ground that is not in the shadows of the mountains.

Looking good; but I think the perspective/vanishing points of the castle (evident on the near turret, especially)are a little steep...

That is to say, the castle should be positioned a little higher on the BG to be 'correctly set'

The sky scatter-effect looks convincing, but your snow-capping edit of the far mountain top looks a little 'wooly', or blurred.

The additive elements of the foreground are excellent, tho'

this looks great, my only crit would be that the added snow on the left looks a bit rushed
