C4D R13 book

Hi, I am new to C4D. I just got R13 and know they made a few additions and a lot of small changes to the interface. I am looking for a book on this version of the software. Anyone has a suggestion?

Christian

Hi Christian

Ive learnt most of Cinema 4D from
C4D Cafe. Actually books are not
as good as video tutorials.

Afaik, there are no books out.
Books are the slowest medium when it comes to being updated for a new version.
The cafe and cineversity would be your best bet's for getting to know about the new stuff in CINEMA 4D.
Digital tutors and Lynda are also excellent resources if they fit your budget.
Then there are tonnes of videos floating around vimeo...which seems to be a veritable hotspot for high quality tutorials using C4D

This one is about R13, it's in german though. Maybe there will be a english version in the times to come. It's the first one of a series. I bought it and can very well recommend it.

C4D book

Thanks for the feedbacks. While I agree with the ease of learning with on-line tutorials and videos, I like to complement this knowledge with a reference book. A document quick to access ( from the bookshelf ), providing detailed information on some key features of fine points.

Unfortunately, I don't read or speak german, I'll have to wait while doing on-line tutorials. There is a good C4D community and lots of info available on the web.

Thanks,
Christian
