Vray material — scaling/tiling a texture in a material?
Hi! When using C4D materials, then I can use the "Transform effect" in the "Layer Shader" to scale/tile my texture. It's very quick and convenient, since I don't need to open my texture in Photoshop to edit the size or tiling and re-save it.. specially when tweaking the size of a noise texture/bitmap.
I'm using Distributed Rendering now and then I can't use the Cinema 4D shaders anymore, since DR can't read the C4D shaders correctly.. is there a way to scale or tile my texture using the Vray shader settings (like in the 'VrayAdvBitmap' options)? I don't want to tile the texture tag, since it most often just some maps in a material that need to be scaled or tweaked..

yes you can scale,offset and tile each vray shader too,
this is possible of course.
for the official V-Ray DR you need of course to use all V-Ray native shaders.
come to the official user support forum, (as user you have an account there already)
