progress report

This is a progress report. I am donewith all the outside geometer. The wing will mirrored over to theother side later. This is to save on the polygon count. The insidegeometer for the cockpits is next. Then texturing, painting andmaterials.

Quick progress, you've got a lot done.
Everything looks a bit stretched vertically though.

Looking great, I do agree, needs to be squised abit.

Done with cockpits

The proportions for the model are based on the front orthographic view. This image was put into Maya as an image plane. The model's base mesh was made from that. Unfortunately the orthographic image and the prospective concept do not match. I stuck with the orthographic proportions and used the concept image for details.

Wow this is looking really nice, awesome texturing dirtying up the ship, really gives it that gritty worn look.

I prefer the last one. This one is more metallic maybe but I prefer the concept that is not.
