good job again man.

Might i suggest you pinch up the edges of the lips a bit. Bring the top lip closer to the bottom lip at the mouth ends, b/c right now it looks a bit cartooney.... too circular of an opening.

I think this is the most impressive real time model I have seen...ever! The beauty render is strikingly real, and the only thing that instantly gives it away is the fingers. But that cnat be helped. Super stuff!

Aww shucks, thanks!

I agree with the fingers - hands have always been a weak point of mine - thats why i had to blur the hand for that render -
umm.... it also doubles up as a rather nifty depth of field effect

No question a great model. And since I didn't finish my entry, I realize I have no right to criticise yours. My only complaint is that while it looks great, it doesn't look like R Lee to me, but rather just an old craggy marine. A superbly rendered old craggy marine.

Feels a tad odd commenting on the compotition, dont want to sound all sour-grapey,

so good stuff first...

The head texture is really very good, nicely detailed given the size,
the body texture is also quality, and works well

on to the crit...

mainly the mesh, a number of areas could be simplified with very little effect on the over all look, mainly these are in the face and hat, also the jacket collar and buckle maybe.

The polys in the shoes could be used better, and some more shapeing on the thumb would help to.

Having said all that, it's still really good.
