mirroring scene with complex animation

how does one mirror a scene with complex animations and what not. the gemetry aspect of its realatively simple. all i have to do is group the obj and flip it with max mirorr. but i am not sure how to deal with animated objects. anyone has any idea?

There are probably much better solutions, so maybe wait for another answer...



...but the first approach that comes to mind would be:

-Bake all animated objects to a single point cache.
-Import point cache onto objects
-Mirror objects just like you mirrored your .obj geometry.

If everything needs to be flipped, can't you just flip the final-render in post-production?
