Matrix / Camera transformations

Hey everyone!

The problem seems to be pretty wide-spread : exporting out a camera with nested transforms.
So , basically world matrix transforms does not give desired result.( probably due to my poor math skills ).Things got even more odd when i tried this :
- Created a camera , seted up rotation x knob to the +45 degrees and took it's world matrix
-Created an identity matrix and perform the "same" "rotateX( math.radians( 45 ) )".

Somehow resulting matrices are different , and camera's matrix look as if it was rotated on (-45) degrees.Any tips are greatly appreciated !
