Wink

Very funny. I can see how this would an outlet for fantasizing ways of getting rid of those pesky ants. I like the wrap around mouth/lips of the anteater around the branch and the idea for have his tongue connect to the branch to trick the ants to being eaten. I don't think you should've had the partial grin at the corner of the mouth because it becomes confusing to the anatomy. You have this partial grin and then the lips stretch out to the familiar anteater length (they don't have a mouth like that; their mouth isn't long that can open like a crocodile; so this grin just makes it look weird). You could've still pulled the corners of the cheeks to show a grin-like expression, though. Also, the body could've used a bit more value variation (more shadows to show form on the legs, because right now the body's starting to look kind of "blobby"). I do like how you did the texturing of the fur/hair and I love how you did the ears (especially with the reds that give the ears that translucency; like how your hands or ears red when you give it a strong back light). I also like your cartoony style and color scheme. Overall, a very cool piece. Keep it up. Good job.
