Modeling: Major Modeling Completed



All I have to do now is add the very minor details and tweak some of the more raggedy geometry. Texturing starts tomorrow, wish me luck!!

Modeling: Minor Modeling Added



All I have left now is the small hole that the chain will come from on the brachiomech's lower back and the pieces of flesh that kind of "wrap around" the back machinery. However, I may leave that out alltogether based on what I think looks best. =)

no new work as of yet, but expect a finished product as of 2morrow @6:30pm cst...

After I eat lunch here in a few, the textures will be flyin on my new computer (the cause of my downtime) and with this blazin new machine, I should be able to work twice as fast (thats what im counting on at least)

Texturing: Texture Test



As you can see, I opted for a relatively simple texture set. Not necessarily because of the deadline, but because I can't really envision this as being a "realistic" character. This is a quick test after I cracked out some textures based from the re-adjusted uv maps. When I get the final textures I'll post a pic of my uv maps too ^^

Texturing: Texture Finished



This milestone could also be counted under lighting and rendering, but I do plan on tweaking the look of everything a few more times, as well as adding some environmental stuff such as rocks, small shrubs, and a better looking horizon.

This is a bit bright, but I like the result. I'll tweak the intensity down a bit.

Rendering: Render Milestone



Here is the final rendering quality that I desire. I am now going to try to rush in my final hour to add some scenery but please forgive me if I have to place it in the WIP section instead of here.

Post Effects and Compositing: Post Effects



Nothing much, adjusted the contrast. This is mainly incase my final image doesn't finish rendering on time. Being last-minute doesn't help!!

but it's exciting!!! lol.

so I was late by one minute, jebus chrost..

eh, I didn't really do much else anyway. Good luck to all the competitors who got their stuff in on time, and expect to see more from mr.Brachiomech in the WIP section!! ^^
