I don't have the studio but I do have the 8.1 and it's quite good if you think in objects. you just create objects that behave and interacts. I've been using it on and off since version 4.

I nearly choked when I saw the $89 price for 3DCoat.
But that's the non-commercial version.

CGSConnect members still get the better discount.

I think Steam is really opening up the game market, not only to gamers but, it seems, also to developers. Interesting times lay ahead I think.

Interestingly, Microsoft already did this with Visual Studio

I think you hit, what, 80% of achievement out there on the nerve

(CLUE: I think most of achievement is just a repetition of the same thing over and over ad nausea. At least from what I seen with ipad games) .

While I hate the idea of DCC software being tied to a Steam account/cloud, I can see how this effort may get more gamers to get into DCC software.

Overall probably a positive development... especially if they discount the software.

Looks like 1 thousand rounds equals to 1% achievement in general . I played 69,000 rounds in CS:S and unlocked like 70% or them. 1220 hours or playing... wow, you could become an expert in anything in this time I guess. Thank you Gabe, haha. Just kidding.
