STAIL - C.A., ANDREA CHIAMPO (3D)

Title: STAIL - C.A.
Name: ANDREA CHIAMPO
Country: Italy
Software: ZBrush KeyShot Photoshop
Submitted: 19th May 2014

Please, read for understanding the project:
This is a piece from an experimental series, that I named STAIL.
It was born few days ago while I was sculpting on ZBrush and the mesh crashed using an Alpha Brush too strong,
AND I THOUGHT:
-Can I take advantage of this mistake?
-Why don’t I take advantage of this thing to make art?
In these images I exploited it, controlling vetirces and stretching the mesh.
Sadly these models are not made for industry,
I’m a Product designer and I know how the functionality is important,
but Art is Art. No?
So,
This is my new way to use ZBrush for this series of “STRETCHED MESHES”,
hope you like it,
Andrea

Hello

Looks great ! I think it might work for production if you find a way to remesh then project the detail as a displacement, just a theory though. Love the concept !
