Dealing with Hair and other passes using LPM
It's been 2 days since i discovered LPM script for 3Ds Max and it has really changed the way I plan my workflow. However, some stuff is still confusing me quite a lot. Setting up overdrives to create an Ambient Occlusion or Zdepth pass with LPM is much more convenient than Material Overdrives with Mental Ray. However, LPM doesn't seem to overdrive the hair material in mrprim as Material Overdrive in Mental Ray does. It works if I change the hair to Geometry, but it takes more time to render and the results are far worse.
Any other hints to generate passes would be great! I'm still a newbie in rendering passes and insight on how to set-up Beauty, Specular and any other passes (without having to render the whole scene to extract the passes) would be really appreciated =}
