vray dark line at intersection, need your help

Hello everyone!

I'm a newbie to vray for maya, I am so confused right now and need your help. I set up a simple scene to test its dome light using HDR, but I always get obvious dark line at the intersection between the sphere and the ground plane. It seems this only happens in the close up shot. Do you have any ideas about what causes it and how to fix it, did I miss something?

Thanks very much for your help!
Kind regards,

It's probably the shadow that's supposed to be "inside" the sphere. Try lower the shadow bias of your light.

Thanks Panupat,

I tried to lower the shadow bias, but it didn't work. However, I restarted maya and reconstruted the whole scene, then the weired black line was gone, I don't know why and which button I had pressed by accident.

Thanks for your help again.

Warm regards
