Who is That?, Sean Hong (2D)

Title: Who is That?
Name: Sean Hong
Country: China
Software: Painter, Photoshop

The work's name is "Who Is That".
It is one pic from my series called "The Children Forgetting To Go Back Home"
In the work:
The child left the metropolis and the noisy city. He climbed the mountain behind the city and began to draw the flower he found after school. He very much enjoyed the nature life and feel sleepy. Now he is just awaken by the "Forest Rescuer" sent by his dear mother:)
Leaving a dream may be lead you into another one.
Sometimes there is only a thin gauze between reality and imagination.
The work is made in Painter and Photoshop.
Hope friends in forums can give me C&Cs for dealing with a night scene and the light in a night atomosphere.
My spirit is always in the children that forget to go back home:)
Best wishes from Shanghai~:)

wonderful picture and very good idea!) Light is also amazing. the only thing i think isn't correct is the shadow from the flower and a small stone next to it. i guess it should be directed more to the right. Anyway i like this pic a lot! good luck!))

to Rianti-Wong:Thank you very muchI am very happy that you like the theme. I wanna do a big series about the same theme
to KseniaYakushina:Thank you for your suggestions!I didn't realize the problem. I'll try to do the adjustments. Many thx
to kyelo:Thank you~
to FrancisChua:wowThank you for your *

Here is some of my sketches and concept about the "forest rescuer"
In the concept, they are a kind of creatures living in forests.
When child is lost in the big forest, parents or family will call the rescuer to find their dear baby

to flaviomonteiro:Many thanks friend The color of night scene with a strong light is really a great challenge.
to binurojers:THX very much
At first, I thought of drawing a strong spot light from the eyes,(as you can see in the process picture below) , but i found it broke the balance of the composition. So at last I didn't make the shape of the light, and only showed the effects from the light

I sincerely thank friends here to give me so many encouragements

Here is some of the process of "Who Is That", hope friends here can give your suggestions.

Very cool art and a really familiar but emotionally solid concept; it's almost spiritual in its dreamlike quality.
