>Another tip (though we've gone wildly off topic).
so why are you doing it?
just start another thread, your topic is interesting enough in its own right. You've managed to FU this entire thread, the guidlines of which where clearly stated in the opener.

Explain how you did this - It appears you took a scene from C4D into Zbrush for booleans. More please!
I suggest you have a look at the "modeling a radio" videos on this page: http://pixologic.com/zclassroom/hom...h-joseph-drust/
That's the Boolean technique that I used, and the new (since the radio videos) retopo tool in ZB4R6 makes this much more practical than it was before.

Yea zBrush 4R6 is amazing and the Remesher is awesome but the trim tools is what I've been having the most fun with. No more need for shadowbox really and the need to fix flattened geometry from curve brushes. Its very cool..... zB mixed with c4d is a powerful combo. Works flawlessly with GoZ.
Anyways, I'm a Windows 8 and 2012 server user. Works great for me with a 3930k, 660ti and 32GB RAM. Couldn't be happier. Once I get a GTX 760 or 780 I'll be even happier.
You got people who like Chevy and people who like Fords. No matter which one is a better buy, or has more power people are just to loyal to jump to the other brand most of the time no matter how much better it can be.
