Angry fume fx smoke problem !!

hey guys,
i've been using fume fx just for 2 days now so i am pretty much a beginner
following a tutorial i was able to make some kinda of an explosion
but in my fumefx output preview the smoke looks awesome
while when i render it the smoke isn't just there :S
here are the 2 pictures of the output and render

any help ?
thanks in advance

wow that made a huge difference , really thanks

now that's how it appears in both the output and render

that's how it appeared with a basic 3 lights setup
it's much better but the smoke doesnt seem realistic at all with that greenish look
i mean how can i make the smoke look that kinda black that gives it realism ?
should it be only one light or smething ? any advice ?

You need to go to the smoke rendering rollout, enable the cast and receive shadows.
