HMC #41: Heroes Of Saturday Morning - robo3687

EDIT: A decision has been made.

I will be doing my own interpretation of:

SAMURAI PIZZA CATS

Here is my mood wall, from this you should get a good idea of the direction I'm going to try and take this.

I wanted something where I'd be able to do a lot of hard surface modeling. It might even give me an excuse to try some hard surface stuff in ZBrush, which I've always been wary of doing.

Should be fun. I might try and do a few quick 2D concepts this week.

it was on a lot in Australia (and the US mostly), it came out in 1990 but I seem to remember it most from around the mid 90's.

-----

One thing I was never really clear on as a kid was whether they were cats in suits of armour, or robots with cat faces. On some further looking I've found the official wording, they are "cybernetic anthropomorphic animaloids" or "animal androids".

So that will help building it because it'll be more mechanical at the joints and I won't have to worry about the logistics of a body moving under the armour.

I've got a few cool ideas floating around in my head, so it'll be good to get them out.

Man, I haven't heard about that one in a loooong time. Wasn't on very long here. Looking at your pics I imagine they are getting a massive face lift. Good luck.
