A character goes through anything between five and fifty different animators, under anywhere between one and ten different team or character leads interfacing such animators with an anim director for performance, and an anim supe for technical concerns, while working on the dialogue provided by scratch first, and the actors later.

There is only one (two some times with singing) voice actor per character who does everything they do directly with the director, and not much else.
They are unique and bring star power, you don't, you'll have to deal with it I'm afraid.
