better control over maya fluids

Hi folks.

I was wondering if there is a way to control fluids/smoke dissipation, dissusion depending on how high the smoke is rising.
I want my smoke to dissipate and diffuse when is comes over a certain height.

Is it possible?

You could add an emitter in that area that emits negative density... not exactly what you want but...
