How Do You Get Your News? Post Here!

Whether it's concrete news websites that report on computer animation, blogs that offer good tips, or just inspiring places for ideas, what are your go-to places for information? Here's a few of mine!
My posts are always so lllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnng

Mhm, those links are not for news, it's strictly for inspiration. I'm just really interested in how people gather news/ideas in the 3D Animation field. There are some great communities that are a bit difficult to search for (like this one) but are packed with info and active people. If you know of any news sites or sites that inspire you, please feel free to share!

I'm gonna put a disclaimer and say I work in ads and tend to check out more technical things...

Master Zap's Blog:

Duncan's Corner

Gotta plug good old Motionographer

I actually check out Cinefex, 3DTotal and 3DWorld every chance I can be bothered to buy one.

Don't forget to follow all the companies you like on linkedIn, since you can see departures and new hires and compare yourself or see news on the company. ESPECIALLY on facebook as well, can't stress that enough. I go to a couple user groups like this one:

Other than that it's just news around the office. I also follow a couple random TD blogs when I can remember to check them. (I can't remember most of them so...sorry...)

This is a great one by Jay Grenier:

By Ashraf Aiad

THE HOTNESS is elemental ray by Brenton Rayner and David Hackett

Brave Rabbit by Kerstin Barenbrock and Ingo Clemens

Chad Vernon's Blog

The forums like zbrush central and concept art are great for inspiration, but not necessarily "news".

And lastly, the best resource I've found ever is 3DPRO which is a an exclusive mailing list of 3D artists around the world. If you find yourself working with someone that offers you an invite, take it (sorry, I won't give one out without meeting someone and I think that's a general rule)!

There's more but my brain is farting.
