script to automatically hide geo for playblasts

Hey guys,

So i have some bendy controls for a character that are nurbs objects. Generally i only use curves but im trying something out for just bendy controls. However, I want a way to automatically hide them when i playblast. I have show/hide attributes on my arm and feet controls but this is cumbersome to do for playblasts...and layers is too messy.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Show menu > Playblast Display

Can't you just turn off the display of nurbs objects in there?

***Edit: Oh I assumed you're using Maya. Probably should have said in your post.
