Fixing Boole Object
I am currently switching from cinema 4d to 3d max and do have a lot of questions.
maybe someone can help me with this issue.
I create 2 object, lets say a torus and a cube. I use the boole function to remove
the lower part of the torus. if I rotate the torus the cut area rotates with the object.
is there a way to fix the position of the cube that it will boole torus as it moves?
in c4d I easily can move the torus and there where it intersects with the cube it
will get booled. is there a similar way to reproduce that in 3d max?
would be very nice, if someone could give me some hints.

if you select one of the Boolean Oerands (such as the box) you will see it pop up in the stack below ProBoolean.
Select that object and apply an X-Form modifier, you can then go in to the sub object Gezmo and start animating it.
