Silo Selection problems under OSX

I am not getting an answer to this at the nevercenter forums so I will try my luck here.

Basicly silo selection freaks out all the time. When I hold the pointer on one edge I want to select, some other edge all the way down the model is highlighted. Needless to say this is really frustrating when you are in the groove trying to model.

Did anyone encounter something similar and found a fix for it?

I am on a macbook pro with a ati card. Color is set to millions.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have AA enabeled on your video card? Silo selection freaks out when AA is forced on.

I don't have access to the gfx card settings under osx as far as I can see. If you know of a way I can check it out let me know.

Hrm...I'm using XP so I can't help much there. I just know that is a very common problem with Silo selection since 1.4

I'll ask around and see if I can drum up a solution from my Mac buddies.

Edit: Hrm, you don't have the Catalyst Control Center with the OSX ATI drivers?
