Paint Geometry Tool & MR Proxy

Hello,

I have a problem using mental ray proxies with paint geometry tool. When I draw on surface using a cube with attached proxy there is nothing on render, but if I just copy it by hand it's all right. What can be wrong?

dosent seem like the duplicate have the dependency connected to them to keep the mi file linked,
see your duplicates are instances

Hi, you might want to look at a script called SPpaint3D, can find it on creative crash.

It's a great script that uses raycasting for painting on surfaces and you can paint stuff as instances, with random rotation/scales and object selections.. really awesome for proxy workflows.

Thanks! This script works great! But it seams to be some problem with my exact scene, if I try to duplicate any proxy object it just disappears with the original, in new blank scene everything is ok.
