Crocs

I did this animation study to 11second club, but I finish my entry one day after the deadline.
No problem at all! Most important is to study!

I forgot to put a frame counter.

Hope you enjoy fellows!
Any suggestion or critique are welcome

Very nice submission, it's a shame you were late! There was a ton of good ones last month ^^. If you wanted a critique there were two things that bugged me.

1. His neck seems to sway to the left and right quickly right before he switches his phone over to the other ear ("A thousand times.") Other than that the animation was great!

2. This isn't an animation problem but if the light is coming from behind him why is his teeth glowing? Maybe adding ambient occlusion to the teeth should fix it.

Cheers

Hey Tyler!

Thank you very much for your feedback! Your two comments are very plausible
I guess I saw the neck quick stranger movement before the first phone change. I will fix that
The stranger light inside the mouth was because I rendered a very poor radiosity pass to take less render time, but I went to over in this economy

Thank you very much for your critiques!
Cheers!

Nice work. I really love the subtle move of him switching the pics on the computer. It gives it a nice touch. Overall, the animation had a nice feel. If I may, the one thing that bothered me a little bit was the sigh/deep breath that he takes. It feels very static in the way he does it. It's almost like he just freezes, takes the breath, then unfreezes. You do have movement there, so I'm not saying it's locking off, but I think if you had like his head tilt to the side, or his hand reach across while he's sighing, it would not seem so out of place. Awesome job though. It's a shame you weren't able to get it in.

Cheers,
