rigging advice

I'm beginner in maya rigging; I run into the problem of double transformation when I put a skinned object under a specific group, and it's driver object under another group.
In my case I have a character and it's spine is rigged with an spline IK solver; and two joints are bound at the two ends of the curve of the spline Ik to affect the curve the way I need it.
Everything goes under the global control group... the problem is the global control is working fine until now, but when I put the two joints under this group I run into this double transformation problem and the global control is working in a strange manner ...
please help...

First, there is another section for rigging.

Second, you get double transformation because the spline IK and global control are each telling the joints to move. Just create a group for the joints that isn't under the global control. Something like this:

Character Group
- Global Control
- Joints group
- Geo group
