Yo Ricardo, nice going! Great pic.
Maybe you should add a overall touch of water. It doesn't have to be drastic but at this stage it might as well be a space-scene.
Apart from this suggestion (if you don't mind): thumbs up

I agree with Fets. Originally I thought it was a space scene before reading about the piece. Maybe some bubbles and cheat and use a few teal / blueish tones ... tiny bit ;;. A hard light reflection .... could add some more drama ... like maybe the diver has should lights or something to cast light backwards to reflect off the monster's eye. .... is the diver really going to get away from that thing by swimming O_O ?

Cool a little more detail may be better.

And I suggest that you add a few more little spot lights around the eye to give morte reflection,and details.And that would not destroy the mysterious atmosphere here.
