Does any experts know how to do this animation?

Hi everyone,

Recently, I`m going to do a project which is very similar with this one. Please take a look of it

The Red Bull Art of Can----- http://vimeo.com/18873136

Please let me know the details of how to do this animation! Any tutorials or key words? I can't find any information about this type of animations !

Super thanks!!!

That animation is no where as simple as you think it may be. Or maybe it is, thats the trick. It could be achieved by a very handy setup/rig which automatically has all of those features built into it. A lot of rigs now offer that functionality. Theres plenty of ways you can go about achieving said effect but its not like your going to learn over night. I recommend you read up some books on rigging and character animation. Learn some expressions as well as they can save you a lot of time. I can easily see how some expressions would be implemented into an animation as such.

Here's a great example of how expressions can be used to help achieve certain effects a lot easier than just "hard animating" objects.

If it was me however, personally the way I would go about animating such is simply building a rig to achieve such functionality. Incorporating the transformation effects into attributes and just work on the timing. There's honestly no easy way to go about giving a full breakdown on how to achieve the exact effect.
