Speed Modelling 7 - 07-07-2012 to 07-14-2012

Speed Modelling 7

Welcome to the new speed modelling, this time we are doing it more simplified with a set time limit for each of the items. I will keep the objects real simple so each week there will be 5 new items.
Gonna try this over the summer with a new thread every Saturday.

Items (1 hour time limit for each of the items)

-compass
-glass bottle
-computer mouse
-shotgun
-door

...

Don't let the 1 hour limit scare you guys, what I am thinking with the 1 hour limit is that if you can model the mainbulk of anything within an hour you learn how to simplify when it comes to modeling. Detailing is a whole other matter.
If you feel you need an extra hour so be it....

nice work guys.

Been in a weird mood today.
Bottle, modeling was pretty quick 5- 10 minutes.., tried a unique design with edge loop. Nevertheless, it became weird...

Thumbs up

Hey guys,

nice work you posted there. I really like that door!
The shotgun would perfectly fit into a cartoon like animation-shot. Not to much detail but enough to show the asset. The compass is - for my taste - a little bit too unround. Would be nicer with a little bit more detail and a rounder shape.

The bottle is really unique - I agree with you whom ^^

This week I hadn't time to model anything.
I will make something of that challenge next week and post it then here.

Keep goin'
