New To 3ds Max / XSI 7.5: Referance Images?

Hello ive been using 3ds Max for a couple of months as part of my uni course and ive decided to start my own project of a person / character and i need a basic image of a person (front and side) that i can base the character at which point i will edit into what im wanting to create, where do you think the best place to get reference images from?

i have used 3ds max for a bit but i also got the Trial for Autodesk XSI 7.5 trying to figure out which would be best, i want to either : model objects / charatcers for games or create the in game content for the game (IE: Source Engine) though i dont really know what thats called im guessing something like Game Design or something anyway would it be best for me to be good at both 3ds Max and XSI 7.5 or be really good at either?
