Dynamic Effects are too strong!

Hi, I'm trying to make a simulation of a car hitting a stack of oil barrels. I'm not really expert about dybamics but I really don't know why when the car hit the barrels, they fly away extremely far from the scene. I've tryied to increase mass and friction values but nothing happen. Any advice?

Try increasing damp value, or mass of objects depending on what method you are using.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did it but if I increase the damp value seems the barrel stops to fly away in air! I spent hours to solve this problem, please help me!

Is gravity activated? Increase gravity, perhaps your scene scale is way out.

Remember dynamics are calculated in meters, so make sure your scene is in realworld measurements. Like your character is 150 cm tall

or set nucleus spatial scale to .01 and pretend that each CM is M

Hey Stooch, does that work properly now?
I thought it creates other issues and it was a rule of thumb not to do that unless you were gently tweaking existing dynamics etc.
Would love to here that you have had success.

I thought a scene scale of 1 treated units as metres, so .01 would then make it cms?
