Select children (1st level children)

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to select children from an object, but I mean ONLY the first level of children, not the children from the children

When I'm in the "schematic view", there is that "Select > Select Children"-function but this select all the children from the object.

Thanks for your time

The page down key selects the first children of a selection. Ctrl page down adds to the selection and also selects all children.

You'll probably have guessed by now, but page up selects the parent. I probably should have mentioned that
